Welcome to YATC

Tracks

In each session campers will have ALL of the classes in All of the Performing Arts, but will choose ONE TRACK to focus on. Half of your camper’s day will be in their TRACK and the other half will be in a variety of Activities, Classes and Master Classes. This will ensure that all of our students are able to get a variety of the programming we offer, but also be able to “major” in ONE TRACK. In each 7 or 10 day camp session, campers will choose only ONE TRACK.

If you choose Session Awesome, Session Incredible or Session WOW - You will be asked to choose TWO TRACKS.

Each track will have it’s own Showcase on the last day of camp!

 

Available Tracks:

 

ACTING TRACK: The acting track is for those students who love to take to the stage or screen with believable characters and bold choices. In this track we will study Acting Techniques, Scene Study, Singing for Actors, Vocal Study, Improvisation, Acting the Song, Classical Theatre, Monologue Study and Audition Technique. 

 

MUSICAL THEATRE TRACK: This is the perfect track for those students who love performing in musicals! We will explore Audition Technique, Acting the Song, Songwriting,  Scene Study for Musicals, Acting Technique, Vocal Technique, and Dance techniques in Broadway, Jazz and Tap. 

 

CREATIVE TRACK: This is our most expansive track at CampYATC and is a perfect fit for the artist who doesn’t necessarily want to be on stage or in front of the camera. 

In this track, we will explore: Writing, Directing, Intro to Filmmaking, Improvisation, Songwriting, Podcasting and elements of production such as Stage Management and the Stage Crafts of Art, Sound, Set, Lighting, Costume and Make Up.
